The Space Industry Database is an online directory service for professionals in the satellite and space industries with a global readership.

There is no charge for listing organisations and events in the Space Industry Database, however you can make your organisation or event stand out from the crowd by advertising it with an inexpensive banner ad.

Advertising Choices and Prices

Advertise your products, services and events on the Space Industry Database website and be seen by thousands of satellite and space industry professionals.

Three choices of location are available for banner ads:

• in an advertising bar at the top and bottom of each primary page on the website;
• above each of the organisation entries on each of the listing pages;
• above each of the events entries on the events pages.

In the Advertising Bars

Banner ads are available in four sizes (600 x 125 pixels, 300 x 250 pixels, 150 x 250 pixels and 300 x 125 pixels) that make an impact and can really get your message across.

Banner ads are available at the top of each page, just below the menu bar, and also at the bottom of each page, just below the content.

Above each of your organisation's entries on each of the listing pages

Banner ads are available in one size (600 x 125 pixels) to make your organisation's entry stand out from the rest of the entries on the page. Your banner ad is placed just above your organisation's entry on the listing page.

• We will not sell the space above your organisation's entry to a competitor;
• We will not automatically renew your banner ads, but will contact you before your banner ads expire to give you the opportunity to renew.

Above of your event on the events listing page

Banner ads are available in one size (600 x 125 pixels) to make your event stand out from the rest of the entries on the page. Your banner ad is placed just above your event on the listing page.

• Your banner will be added to the listing within one working day of your booking and will remain in the listing until fourteen days after your event has finished;
• We will not sell the space above your event's entry to a competitor.

General Notes

We do not cycle ads on our website. Your ad will be visible to every visitor to the website.

Our banner ads are integrated into the content of the pages and are not removed by ad blocking on browsers.

Banner Ad Sizes

Payment Methods

We can accept payment by a wide range of credit cards through PayPal as well as payments using PayPal itself. You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay by credit card using PayPal. You can make payment by crediting Microcom's PayPal account directly.

We can accept payment by cheque and bank transfer in any major currency. If you would like to make payment in a currency other than pounds sterling, euros or US dollars, please let us know and we will quote you a price.

VAT

VAT is payable at a rate of 20.0% by all customers in the UK. No VAT is payable by other customers.

Design and Artwork

• Creatives must comply to industry standards: 72 dpi @ 100% RGB;
• Format: jpg, gif;
• Maximum file size: 100 kB.

Guidelines

Creatives must respect trademarks and copyright laws in both the country of origin and in the UK. The advertiser will be reponsible for any illegal usage and will protect Microcom Systems from all claims, expenses and damages from illegal usage.

Availability

Ads in the top and bottom advertising bars are sold on a first come, first served basis. Microcom cannot guarantee the availability of a banner location until a booking has been made and accepted.
